Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Fueling Agile Nigeria (“we”) process personal and company data in AgileFlex / FANMS (fleet fuel-card and telematics platforms), in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
1. Who we are
We provide fleet fuel-card management and related telematics tools to Nigerian companies. For platform accounts we are a data controller. For fleet data you upload or instruct us to process, we act as a processor on your organisation’s behalf.
2. What we collect
- Account & contact details (email, phone, address, names)
- Fleet data (vehicles, drivers, cards, balances, subsidiaries)
- Bank fuel-card transaction imports (e.g. Providus / Wema logs)
- Telematics (location, trips, tank readings) when enabled
- Security logs (login time, IP, user agent, approximate geo)
- Support and alert emails
3. Why we process it
- Deliver the contracted fuel-management service
- Detect suspicious fuel activity and protect accounts
- Send operational alerts you configure
- Meet legal and accounting duties
We do not sell personal data. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in.
4. How we protect it
- HTTPS at the public edge
- Password hashing (BCrypt); revocable sessions; role-based admin access
- Company-scoped customer data; approval workflows for sensitive admin changes
- Login rate limits and lockouts; audit logging of sensitive admin activity
- Secrets kept out of source control
5. Sharing
We use service providers needed to run the product (hosting, email delivery, telematics, maps, bank-import sources). We require appropriate safeguards. A current list is available on request at the contact email above.
6. Your rights (NDPA)
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to certain processing. Signed-in company users can submit a request in the app under Privacy & data rights, or email fuelingagilenigeria@gmail.com. We will verify identity/authority and respond within a reasonable time.
7. Retention
We keep operational data for the life of the contract plus a reasonable wind-down, and security logs long enough to investigate incidents, unless law requires longer retention. You may ask for deletion or anonymisation where the law allows.
8. Breaches
Suspected personal-data breaches are handled under our Incident Response Policy. Where required, we notify affected customers and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission without undue delay.
